It was actually an old project that I found and came back to in an attempt to finish it.

It's Down beat @ 90BPM. The intent is obvious, I wanted to create a creepy psych piece.

INSTRUMENTATION

CreamWare
2x Neutron's Micro 3 : for trance gurgle
SpaceF Synthetic through Neutron's Harmonic Distortion unit: for bouncy guitar synth sound
Celmo's GAM for real guitar
de-Vice Levil-Devil on guitar and synth guitar
My own ModIII Synth FoulMouth for lead Synth.

VSTi
Crystal Synth for opening trance gurgle
Absynth2 for distorted bass sound
Drums were all sequenced and samples using SR202 and Cubase to cut them up.

Hope someone enjoys it.
Cheers

Nice track!

Im really diggin the evil kill bill kinda vibe you have going on here, it makes me feel like its a movie track where some one is after another person to make them pay for there evil deeds, and when they catch them, there will be hell to pay!

Nice use of effects, at 1st I was a little bit like hrmm wheres the drums, but they came in just right.

Nice mix, post some more of this stuff, it brings me to an a dark evil place

Cheers!

Very very good.
I can hear how much work you put in that.
So much nice details are worked out here, instrumentation, balace between all elements just excellent.
This could be a Matrix4 track during another action scene.
Hats up!

Wow - thanks for your positive comments guys.
Chris - yeah I spent a lot of time on the mix / mastering - sometimes you just strike a lucky balance. It's alchemy.
cheers

Agree. Great effects work and very good mix - especially on the vocals whispering. Hard to get right, but here - perfect. In my long search for something to criticise, all I can think is that the bass drum is a big flat and characterless, but then it would be inappropriate any more forward, so...

The track reminds me in a small way of some of the big sci-fi bands of the late 70s like Hawkwind (this is intended as a compliment btw).

Nice

This is one of my faves. I have CDs of PZ works that I play in the car. This hits the top 10. It certainly would be good for film or TV.

Wow! I could do with Hubird's 'thumbs up' smiley right about now.

Is there a reason for the name, 'Miranda'?

WOW . . .
Thanks so much for the positive and enthusiastic reviews.
Always nice to hear when you've cracked it.

Royston . . the name "Miranda" just sounded good to me when I was coming up with the concept. Actually, I think I just heard it on TV, a character's name and thought it had an ambience about it...
Cheers
