Has anyone any comments on this device?

I am going to try out the demo but just wondered what the more sonically experienced person on Z think about this one.

Cheers.

Hi all,

Firstly, thanks for all the interest in the De-Vice' stuff..

Responding to the XTC questions, i would love to be able to offer full XTC support of all the De-Vice' plug-ins but due to technical and GUI issues, it's currently not possible/not working correctly. We have not given up developing/creating for XTC but feel that the current level of performance is not acceptable in XTC mode.

We are hoping that a new version of Scope DP will rectify this problem but we will have to wait for it's release.

Thanks for your understanding and I hope this matter can be sorted out soon.

Until then, search PlanetZ for info on getting non-XTC plug-ins working with XTC and give it a go with ours.

Please understand that we offer not guarantee or support for our plug-ins in this mock-up XTC mode but hope it will work for you.

All the best for a safe and fun Christmas period and new year.

Hi
Ison is REALLY great device. It is not so transparent and precise like Sony OXF EQ. BUT it offers much more features. I like it very much! And one other thing: At last we have hi-end parametric EQ for SCOPE platform !!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Good job!

I checked thoroughly what it can do, looks véry promessing, but wanne compare it first with CWA eq and Tubes EQ Vst, the latter I find incredible musical and hi end, in lows as in highs.
But...I'm afraid Onomat will get a part of my newyear bonus, as the Tubes are part of an $450.- bundle
(tho I'd prefer a more scientific GUI, but that's secondary).

Hi,

i´m a ISON - User and i think, it is the greatest EQ for the SFP-System! ( How many people works in time of Scope really with VST - PlugIns?
I don´t have an original Sony-Oxford-Console in my Setup  , but i like the Sound from ISON realy!

PS: I hope the graphical editing is planned!

Happy new Year - Martin

hi,i have both - sony oxford and ison.
and i use ison. i dont think that sony oxford is better than ison. indeed
ison have more modes and i think lpf and hpf at all the best, very impressive percussion mode 4 percusion, may be a little bit difference between oxford eq and ison in master mode but it is on someones taste only.
some1 likes icecream with bananas some1 with
cherry, but all of them icecream.nice work!:-)
