I wanted to use the MDS8 as polyphonic midi note sequencers, and some time ago J9k was very kind to make a merger-keyzone-transposer module, with wich I could assign different note values to the midi outs of that drum sequencer module.

But the problem was that the shots sent by MDS8 are of a fixed lenght, good to trigger drum sounds.

So I made this small module, that sends pedal messages (drone effect) with the through-going midi signals, so the MDS8 can be used very well as a sequencer, with it's very special feature of being polyphonic, so chords can be drawn.

I made also a M III patch (it has merger modules) to show the module in action, that I'll post immediatly after. It's called Note Length Seq.

Use it with a ControlSeq2 module (the one that works better)

Have fun.

Sorry, I had written the wrong name everywhere...corrected now!

Ben Walker made me aware of the wrong way I had written the "Length" word, so I corrected the module's surface and it's name...
