Adding a card to my system

Hi! I will soon recive a pulsar2 card that I will add to my Luna2. Im wondering how I should proceed. Should I uninstall everything first or can I just plug my new card in? Another potential issue is the fact that I will have the Modular3 synth connected to the Luna registration file and the Prodessey connected to the Pulsar regfile. Will this be a problem?

hi Henrik

- just plug it in!

try to have it sharing an irq, strap on an S/TDM cable, and all your devices will load on a 9 DSP system

pci slots 2 & 5 seem popular....

Simply add the card and connect it to your luna via the STDM cable. boot your system it ask for a driver, install it.

then proceed to install the Pulsar software on top of the luna so you can gain all the extra plugins.

good IRQ's are 5/9/10 or 11

just make sure neither card is sharing IRQ with other devices and specially the video card.
