I don't have the scope board yet - but are there any problems running DirectX Games with the Scope Board -- I have a partition on my computer for them or should I disable the Scope Board and use the on-board sound on my ASUS motherboard ?
As far as I know, I'm not experiencing any scope-related problems with games, though there are some features (I can't recall which) which aren't available using a scope card, but the games works fine here.
Hmm, I guess it depends on the games. I use Scope as my only soundcard, and I get occasional crashes in Enemy Territory, Homeworld (first one), Warcraft 3 and Port Royale 2. Other games (Starcraft, FFXI) have run without a problem.
There`s no SFP system available which matches the requirements of directx 9. You´re able to check this by typing in dxdiag at the run prompt of the start menu.
The best way is getting a discounter pc for games and keeping the other one for music. Everything else may cause trouble in the near future.
