hmmmm.
how about, if it ain't broke, don't fix it?
i am still running XP SP1 with NO UPDATES other than direct x 9.0 c.
i understand the need for the security updates and such if your DAW is an internet computer, but what do you want to do that to your DAW for?
i suppose that's another debate entirely tho.
K.I.S.S.- keep it simple, stupid.
get a cheapo unit for internet, word processing, porn, etc. and throw the big bucks at a DAW that never sees the internet or photoshop or anything but audio apps.
eliminates alot of potential headaches...
