Next news from Creamware?

1. creamware will release new generation cards.

2. you will be able to replace your old ones with no cost.(for cards bought within the last 3 years)

3. the new cards will be compatible to older software

4. the new software will not replace the current, but it will cooperate with it.

can yo think of anything better?
should creamware think this way?

A no-cost hw replacement is something totally impossible to afford for any company, figure for a small one....It has no justification too, I'd love it but.....

it would be an heavy loss for CWA!

I would be satisfied if can buy new hardware, that means that the company will remain on the market, and I will have support, new devices, and life in this forum.

I would love to see something that does generate sounds , wide and airy pads and athmos like the Roland JD-990....
I think its sounds awesome and nice....(like many and most Roland stuff)

Of course that would not be an analog classic recreation. But I think its the sound that counts, and who says that Creamware should only do analog classic recreations in the future?

A big part of the JD990 sound is the effects, so I would imagine a lot of John Bowen's presets could pull off similar things. The Korg Legacy Collection Digital Edition would be cool to get if only for the effects.

I think the effects in it are actually rather midrange. The only time I ever find myself using one as an insert is when I want a cpu light version of something (like early reflecions on pads from a verb). I rather like the wavestation myself. Not the greatest UI in a plugin but I find I like the sequenced pcm based sounds it generates.
