PUMA (Protected User Mode Audio ) could be a problem for Scope. What happens if one plays a copyrighted stream trough Scope? Will Vista revoke Scope driver? That's what I don't understand.
Oh, and there's bad news for other operating systems, now graphics chips need to "authenticate" themselves to Vista.
Oh, and more bad news for Adobe Acrobat. MS's new format competes head on with Adobe's pdf format.

(so that's where all the money went into!)Each graphics card manufacturer is responsible for specifying the actual authentication tests, because only they know the subtle idiosyncrasies of their chip. Such tests could involve loading a surface with an image, and then getting the chip to apply various visual effects to the image and reporting back the resulting pixels. Each chip design will return a subtly different set of pixels as the answer.
