Could a really well recorded VSTi such as Chris Hein Bass, or Scarbee's various basses, which BTW are already recorded through some different amps, benefit from such a plug?

I am curious if a bass recorded w/ a quality DI into a big SSL or similar recording technique, would be enhanced.

I have acquirred some really nice VSTi's lately like Guiatrs, and Bass and am interested in adding some mic modelling, and DSP amp emu's.

Celmo, and CW seem to have some nice stuff cookin', and I am really getting hyped about concentrating on productions, while gigging.

I will never be able to stop gigging though, It is a 35 year habit.

My left hand bass chops are pretty fierce thanks to Emerson woodshedding, and of course Debbussey, and Frederic Fuckin Chopin as Doc Holiday ( Val Kilmer ) said in that great American classic,...Tombstone. ( Shootout At The O.K. Corral )

celmos emulations are really excellent .The only problem I had was I couldn't see where to save midicontrol presets [there was no midi control bank in the preset list that came with it] however given that you have to rename the dynas and put them into a mixer slot to get midi into them ....no midi input on the gui..then I'm thinking that you could do the same to celmos and user the mixer midicontrol bank to do the same thing to them ...I'll have to check it out one day.
That said Jimmy, get the free celmo blues amp for guitar . When you buy celmos bass emulator you get all the guitar presets as well so there cant be that much difference between the bass amp and the git amp unless theres some hidden modular shit going on ,I dont know ...it's worth a try ??and then run your scarbee samples through that and see if you dig it . That blues amp is worth having for guitar anyway although it's a freebie . That old Celmo there has got ears to die for I reckon .
