hi jimmy,
I realize that M/S could be overkill, but I have heard the possibilities that DAS DynaPara did with already recorded material. Now I was thinking if I could actually have even more separation, I could pursue some very interesting surround / M/S type of stuff.
glad to see you get interested in M/S tekniks ... a great world full of new sensations ...

just a trick here :

Your mixer DAS ModulaMixer Scope 4 Edition already has got the M/S decoder function ...

each stereo input is a M/S decoder !!!
Left input is for Mid
and Right input is for Side

just check it !!! amazing ...

cheers

Mon frère, vous êtes massacre je ! !

I have had that mixer in front of me for 6 weeks and never thought to try that out.

I thought it was a fancy phase cancellation or something.

How would you suggest I use that if I am to record and automate the vocals, which I suspect will be happening by March '08. These girls think that they can handle 6 nights in smoke and noise w/o any problems. I know better, Not one of them has finished a 6 night reheasal w/o whinning about something, or not being able to finish the evening.

I have a great recording area already in use since 1987 w/ traps, and booths, and even a large wooden floored room w/ a high ceiling. I need your inptut on this.

I Just Love Scope Based Surprises.

When were you planning on telling everyone about this?

BTW, I have a SAC 2.2 for you . ETA is the 21st of December.

The SAC 2.2 is coming through Ice storms from the Bronx to Vegas.

Then from Vegas to NYC to London to Paris.

I don't yjoml you will see it until Janurary by the time it gets here.

ETA equals estimated time arrival.

Now,....back to the DAS MM.

Please email me. Fuck the translator, I will use my own brain there.

that's what I read from it, too. (and I only took a few lessons during school...)
and since s4l frequently uses this phrase, it was even more a simple guess :D

for the translation is almost the same back and forth, can we assume that Vous me tuez is the right term to use? :)

"tu me scies ..." literally : you are sawing me

Olive, may I politely suggest that you do not continue to promote any of your products such as this modularmixer using screenshots which contain my gui element artwork. You are misleading people by using my artwork in your advertising & all in all it's something which I'd rather you did not do. I know you'll say this was the special Scope4Live edition, but I would appreciate if you don't continue to use my gui element artwork in ANY of your public advertising or in any of your Scope devices at all for that matter. Those gui elements are for non commercial use unless arranged otherwise with me personally. I hope you understand where we stand regarding this subject & that you will respect my wishes regarding the use of my artwork.

Thanks.

Well, it doesn't do your company any favours to promote your products using graphics which you do not have permission to use.

shroomz and olive,

please, would you be so kind to discuss that personal matter in private? I'm sure you can agree on something, but even if not, that doesn't belong here.

here was an angry post, directed at das, with pretty harsh language and rightfully hard accusations. Now self-moderated due to my belief that i will be even more angry tomorrow, att which point i will have talked to my legal aids for further advice. Now edited.

Meanwhile Back @ The Ranch.

I appreciate all of the tips from my Brotha's @ The Z.

I will be having tons of fun experimenting before I make a decision.

Thanks to Olive, Eric and Shroomz for a really great mixer too.

Happy Holidays, and by all means ..............Be Festive.
