Hi Jimmy,

Sad you cannot tweak your pulse, could be helpful for that kind of "hybridation"!

No, I didn't check their latest production, their steiny and white grand junior after some tweazting sound good to me. My keyboard (novation remote) is not good enought for better sample (I find the action not even).

*By the way, you should try hifiboom reveb as a substitute to the impulse, it give me some good result with the white grand

Seb from plogue have begun porting bidule on Quad apparently, so I restart the idea to of using a remote controller (I think of using Nintendo DS through wifi) for project selection.... but it is still too soon to decide. The amount of time to invest for porting OSClib to the NDS and check wifi interoperability need more evidence then just a declaration!

cheers

What A Coincidence !!

I was using a plate mix from HiFiBoom w/ GigaPulse and the sound was very nice. The IR is run in serial to the Plate, where the IR becomes more tweakable since it is inputted in this fashion. It also adds the Dampening required and HP / LP Filtering.

At the end of the day I will still use hardware effect for Reverbs, and the Pedal Down IR's, and that sound is totally editable, as a reverb should be.

Plogue has also recently been updated to work with Garritans Aria engine, which would allow his Steinway to be used.

I lost so many devleopers that went from Giga to Kontackt in the last 5 years. Now that GS4 has become a VST host, I got 'em all back !! :D

Keep me posted on Bidule, as it will gain more popularity with the multicore optimisations.
