the xite is exactly the product i wished for.

- it has the old modular concept
- it has such sheer power (32 masterverbs at ~30% load or less ;P )
- in a small transportable box with headphone out
- price not dirt cheap but at least affordable for an entusiast, and i guess some specials will follow, lets say an xmas 20% discount or something linke that.

and in my opinion well worth the money. combined with an A16 you can outperformevery small studio in terms of functionaliy.
And in terms of comfort it outperfroms the biggest studios. The old advantage: saving a whole project in a single file is just very cool. Okay vst can do this too but doesn`t give you "the sound" and the "0-latency" thing.

Plain cool, because you can still decide if you wanna mixdown with analog outboard gear and use the internal synth and fx as outboard fx or the other way round.

And the last thing that has to be said. The sdk is heaven for developers. I am used to developement environments and this is a very easy to use and understand development environment. Nothing can beat that! you can concentrate on your main goal, develop audio plugs, and very easily add professional surface guis. I really hope for an update here too.
The free device scene in my opinion here has brought up some very cool ideas and makes the platform a self runner.
And the free devices that have been released are really useful, and people can help each other with ideas. So its not just a product, its also passion.

Definately well said.
When I found out the old SDK and 3rd party devices could be used, it was one of my main considerations. A perfect development myriad. The SC team expands the apps capabilities and 3rd party and SDK guys cover the developmental ideas.


BTW I found a portable battery for XITE-1's PSU.
A very small USB 2 octave controller, and a perfect backpack.
This summer I will block out the screaming of my son and his little buddies at the beach while I jam.
Nothing attracts beautiful women more than an pre occupied artist at the Beach......

Actually I was looking at a Solar Powered generator for the end days.

Hehe, I LITERALLY have this exact unit. Great little generator, but really only runs for about 45-minutes on a tank of gas.

I put inverters in my RV so that I can run a laptop off my cabin battery - just not sure it has enough juice to keep the Xite cool and happy.

Wolf's mixer works now too.
It can be loaded unconnected, then assigned to it's own DSP chip.
While connecting and loading Reverbs & effects it asked for DSP optimization once.
Once everything was loaded into the project, I went back and cleared the DSP chip assignment and it spread the load.
What is seen below is all for the polyphony of MultiSynth, QWave, Solaris, Flexor 3.1 and XOR, or whatever synth is needed for that project.....Coolness.

This is a shot of the new GUI that acts as it's 3D or something. I'll let you scientisfic guys figure out why and how it does this, but at first I assumed I had to leave a corner of a stacked module sticking out to grab for clicking and revealing it's surface.
Nope, I can COMBINE these modules now as the the jpeg ( close up of the project above ) below demonstrates.
To me this is great as I have 1 screen and would like to keep it like that for live work.
These guys are doing us a serious justice with the new Scope 5.0
I hope this just isn't an XITE-1 thing.

All surfaces on this combination are clickable. Well the Seq. Dest isn't. But I can change the ASIO I/O's and view the MIDI Montor by a click.
I guess the SC guys lurk around here, and implement certain requests.
I was worried about the excessive power and lack of screen real estate, but tricks like this make that argument moot.
