Protone/Pro One is also an excellent choice. Ive used it a lot lately; you can make these really juicy synth and bass riffs. Has a great sound, and always cuts through the mix perfectly. Could be very suitable for trance/psytrance.

You should also try demo's for John Bowen's Solaris, Prowave, Quantumwave. These are fantastic synths with lots of possibilites. You cant go wrong on these ..

+1 for flexor and all modular stuff, when you want to create and shape new sample materials.
+1 for Pro-Wave as well.
