Another good way to get single chip assignments with Flexor III, which is still unoptimized, is to build a synth that will stay under 6500 in the DSP meter using 5 voices.
Flexor III synths just sound too good to not be using. And thanks to all of the SDK, and 3rd Party guys I can audition Oscillators, and even use SpaceF's Oscillator shells and drag in RDII Modules, and SpaceF satellites. Sure, it eats a little DSP, but it ain't like us XITE-1 guys are hurting for DSP..........

Anyways, I have a little difficulty copping the CS80 sounds I used 30 years ago (

), mostly due to the fact that the CS80 had the Super Band Pass Filters. But with Flexor III the MF-2 Spice Filter has some great ways to enhance this using the X-Y controller modules' 4 x audio inputs, and the 4 x Filter Outs on the Spice.
I must thank Assaf for the Sound Nebula Patch for the inspiration. It is truly an awesome patch.
Oh BTW Sharcs Oscillators ( striped red/beige) are reallt authentically analog sounding. Very Buzzy especially the Saw's and Pulse based choices.

I have been meaning to ask what XITE-1 guys here have Mod IV.
If you do, please verify that the 2 in x 4 out Mod IV patches are recalled with stored assignments.
Mine are working perfectly everytime w/ Mod IV 2 x 4's and if if everyone elses are I'd like tothink that they are a sign of consitency.
ANkyu.
