Hi Nestor,
Thank you so much for the review. I'm glad that you liked it and thanks for the kind words about our collaboration - shouted in capital letters no less! We're enjoying it too.

Samplaire - I have to apologise for reading your post a bit too quickly and personally I am very pleased about the "If only Tangerine Dream had gone this way..." line. That really means a lot to me so thanx.

Starchaser replying to John Cooper in ground control:
Due to moving into deep space it will take a while for our next transmission to reach you.
It is being prepared though.
Earth looks cool from out here but Planet Z looks better - more peaceful.

You wrote that you're looking forward to our next transmission ------

Transmission time will be within the next 36/48 hours and Saturn was a lot different than Pluto
Thankx again for you encouragement.

Got a chance to listen to this today and glad I did.
Nothing constructive to say other than I really enjoyed it and love the imagery.

Look forward to more from you two Space Cadets
Cheers

there, on this track I also hear distortion on the strings at the begining (re : my comments on your other recent open window track). May be it's intentional but it doesn't sound like it is (sorry, if it is intentional after all).
Only I can hear it ? i've checked my setup and and it doesn't come from me (i've put everything at -12dB to check). For me it's too much compression at a moment....

The strings were recorded on my JV1080 emulating a mellotron and the noise you will hear on this track is a slight dirty signal from the outboard gear. When Chris mixed it, he'd already received these tracks from me and could only reduce so much of the noise. So this isn't a similar problem to Chris's "Window" track. You'll probably hear similar noise on the flutes and other instruments too.
Anyway, nice of you to listen to it.

no problem  I was just wondering if I was the only one to hear it, that could have been a problem

Sorry rrominet4 - I didn't mean to come over the way I did in the text. I was simply trying to explain the background to the noise.
