Water in this country has become a major concern. Here in WA rainwater tanks haven't even caught on yet, with water restrictions in effect.
Lawns are still kept green & lush with the help of reticulated bore water, which stains concrete & brick red.
My "lawn" dies every summer and regrows every winter. It's nice, with many kinds of "field flowers" but the sand it becomes in the hot makes the landlord not very happy with me.
