To TIMELESS:
Please be so kind and explain me little bit better :
>>We master through cubase. Send the MIX of your SCOPE to a RECORDBUS and record in cubase a normal AUDIO Track. But you have to disable the listinig Channel you route the signal of this audio track to in SCOPE:<<
you mean? Go from my mixer out to....where?( what is Recordbus?)
what input on STM 2448 Mixer is that?
>>But you have to disable the listinig Channel you route the signal of this audio track to in SCOPE<< do you mean MUTE the channel on STM2448, that after is recorded, should come out?

Thanx Stardust for being here.
I ve got system on again.
I have Status Quo right now.
Maybe is DirectX issue?
I see now that when I start ASIO Direct x full duplex setup of steinberg , on the top of window it says DirectX vers. 5.3, and I have installed DirectX 9.0.
Whay is that? Where I can check which version is on right now?
When I start ASIO multimedia setup, it will not start the test.
it open caution window with something like:
You dont have digital signal....something....chang clock...something.
I dont have any digital drivers in my project, cause I dont use any.

I've had this problem since i upgraded to a C2D about 8 months ago. My old computer was a P4 2ghz and never had a problem at all.
Your computer is different than mine:
C2D E6600
2 GIG RAM
SAMSUNG 400GB SATA2 HDD
ASUS P5B DELUXE P965 chipset
NVIDIA GeForce 7300 GS
the workaround to this problem for me is:
1) in your scope mixer set your MASTER to ASIO2 and in cubase add a new audio track and hit record, you will now capture you're scope mixer outputs and have no crackles or pops.
2) If you want to capture internet radio streams through WMP or WINAMP set WAVELAB to ASIO and you can record your stream without any crackles.
I do get the odd pop every now and then when playing audio back using winamp but it's not a problem.
i hope this works for you because like yourself i've been through every setting and tried everything and this is the only workaround for me.

Thanks a lot Lunatic,
Yes, it seams that is the only way.
I must say goodbye to Wavlab, but it is not so bad...it works this way too.
I belive it could be the ACPI thing, but I dont want to put my Quad in Standard PC mode because it would lost lot on power.

hm...how many asio2 24 sources en dests do you have?
I used to have something like 8 busses on my old workstation without a problem.
on my new workstation (dualcore) i cant have more then 2 otherwise it starts to click/pop after awhile and sometimes even resets the board.
Try minimizing the busses if you have any and see if it improves...
or maybe try allocating only 1 processor for your scope within xp.

your system is not properly setup.
64 channels, no problems here.
