Our Union Day Care Centers (public schools) are doing a great job of teaching our kids how afwul life can be without their divine guidance.

I agree with this. I finally am making so many keyboard shortcuts, macros and Logical Editor presets. I still do not fully understand the Logical Editor but I have edited some presets into very useful functions. For an example, one key shifts events an octave down, the adjacent shortcut puts events an octave up. This is so elegant. I have altered Cubase in many other significant ways. I can not see learning another sequencer.

Why not play it in the right Octave from the beginning..........?

Coz on a bass guitar you run out of octaves

A friend of mine was demo'ing new PBass's at Guitar Center and the salesmen was saying "Hey dude. you got great chops, why do you want a 4 string when you can get a 6 string" and he replied if you can't get the job done with 4 strings, the 5th and 6th aren't going to be much help...

I always get a kick out of kids wanting vintage gear as it shows some respect for the old cats that made it famous, but after hearing a new Ampeg SVT with a new PBass I was shocked at how crappy of a sound it had...?? No sustain, plenty of low end but boomy rumble, very little focus.

Kids are smarter than they were in the 90s when we first started getting screwed by the Harmin Kardin conglomerate.

just had to say good bye to my old Harman Kardon tapedeck, if that's the company Jimmy is talking about.
Just, really just when I wanted to take a specific sample off a recorded LP from 1978 originally the deck died, or won't drive the tape at least.
Music from Peter C. Johnson, as were called both his two ever-famous LP recordings, not to be found as original tracks on the internet, I swear.

Anyway, it was a great deck, I regret not being able anymore to play the tapes with the deck they originally were recorded on, as that'd be the best.
Looking for another hi quality deck in perfect condition now, preferably from Haman Kardon

Actually HK has some pretty awesome patents for Cars and many other pro audio solutions, but like ASRock to corner market share they went slightly below consumer quality as that gets more sales than better quality with higher prices.
