I have (2) ADA800 ADAT io's for my 6 dsp card & would love to see 24 channel, or even 32, or even 48 channel ADAT IO. I have a ton of hardware synths, drum modules, etc I would like to patch in once w/o having to re-wire all my gear to lay down more tracks....good point..thanx...joel

You could look into getting something like a Yamaha 01V96V2 mixer that has extra I/O and links beautifully with Scope.
I currently have (2) Behringer MX9000 24x8 consoles for this, so it is 48x16. The 16 bus outs, I routre to the 16 ins of my (2) ADA8000's. If I just had 48 ins, I could just trash my analog mixers...
It's men like you guys, that blow my mind. After watching the videos for the new Solaris synth...I got lost after the 4th or 5th video out of 12 I think. I get effects, oscillators, filters, but modulation matrix and modular synths...I turn into just a preset dweeb.
I've spent a long time as a musician (started as a drummer, graduated to good enough to play jazz (half way around the world in my mid 20's)
Currently I'm 43. In my youth I have spent a few years living in Chicago in the mid 90's during the Wax Trax hey days, doing some sequencing & misc side stuff with Bon Harris (Nitzerebb), Chris Randall (Sister Machine Gun), En Esche (KMFDM), Dirk Krause & Uva (Armageddon Dildos), Fluffy, Hung w/ Critter Howell, Flood, Louis Svitek & Duayne Buford, Paul Barker (Ministry), the guys from Stabbing Westward, Jim & Vandy (Die Warzau). Have I name dropped enough and qualified myself by now? This kind of music is really where my heart lies. Bone crunching machine music!
I've been around for a while now & have taken some time off. Married a woman I don't deserve, designed & built a 7,700 sq ft ICF house by myself, rebuilding my studio , (almost done & I'll get into that at another time) I find myself lucky enough to get back into this, and be able to find & communicate with guys like you, who's generosity of your knowledge, generosity of your time, and genuine all around "niceness" just further encourages me want to learn more. At my age, I know the difference. I understand this might not be the right topic in the forum these statements, but I honestly feel it had to be said....after reading so many of your posts to help, and give accurate info & advice to others.....enough said...I look forward to meeting all of you in person someday (Jimmy V, your in this one too you know) .........Joel
