THAT would sell...!

but if I understood Warp69 well, you can't, without affecting the sound quality.

I don't expect anything better to come out as there isn't much competition for third party CW reverbs.

there is NOTHING to optimize in the context of PCI bandwidth - the strategy itself is a workaround due to technological limits (and prices) in 96/97, when the boards were designed.
CWA would have designed the boards differently if highspeed RAM would have been available like today on graph cards.
In those years you had ONE single MByte available for that purpose and does anyone remember the price of a Matrox Millenium when it was released ? Those cards sold in 100k quantities...
cheers, Tom

hi Warp69 this one goes to ya,
I've downloaded the demo, but win xp wont let me install it. Wanna have a try before buying it ofcourse, tho I trust everyone's ear here in the Z. How do I avoid win xp from asking me security bull***** and stuff, thanks in advance.

Are you using Windows XP SP2? Try disabling the security center service.
Don't panic about disabling this.. it means nothing as long as you have a good firewall (the XP one is crap anyway), keep yourself updated with security hotfixes periodically or when there's a major alert, and run virus scans occasionally (I don't advise running a virus monitor constantly, as it drains your CPU and RAM and leads to instability). Also make sure you disable all ActiveX crap if you use Internet Explorer (and obviously don't use Outlook Express)

Yes I'm on servicepack 2 unfortunately. I mistakely accepted what win xp was telling to do, update security and sh**. As I'm new to win xp, guess I was a little bit naive at the moment.

hi fellas,
just got muy serial key for the verbs. I've installed all the devices and presets at their respective locations, that is where they are meant to be. Closed Scope, started it again. When launching the devices I'm prompted with the activation key request window, I did the appropriate thing but this prompts a message saying " invalid key" etc..
I did paste all the codes alright, I've even contacted Craig at sonictimeworks but there's no way out that's why I've come here to seek help, Craig was cool btw as he promptly fed me back." ceci-dit" I count on you fellas for some help as we all have the same equipment, cheers and thanks in advance.

Hi All,
Did you notice the mistake on STW homepage news updates
1 December 2004
A-100 w/I-100 Classic Plate Reverb for SCOPE released
I have emailed sales, but the mistake of calling the Ambience reverb a Plate reverb so far has not been corrected.

Having problems with STW again.
First mail for Auth code sent on 16th March
- Got the code wrong (my mistake) and terse reply from cc was Invalid Manufacturer.... wrong request string.
Sent second mail with correct code on 17th March - no reply
Forwarded the message again on 22nd March with html attachment of previous mail - terse reply from cc again - Do not send html attachments. No code no nothing.
Still nothing!
This service absolutely sucks.
Warp can you help me here???
Regards,
Simon

Thanks Warp.
I have cc'd you on a mail I have just sent to Craig.
Craigs reply to my last mail is a classic so my reply was quite snotty I'm afraid.
Any help appreciated.

Simon

Hi!
i tested the plate reverb and on the drums is performing great!
my question/request: do you plan to sell the "lite" versions of your reverbs as a single device??????? or maybe a bundle of the lite version (plate, ambience, hall, etc)
they also seem very good, and they consume little DSP.
i think that lite versions at a cheap price could make a lot of users happy (me for sure!)

Where can I find a demo of the A-100 and I-100?
I am thinking of buying them (I already have the P-100 which is great!), but I d like to test them first to make sure that I do not get any unreasonable PCI Overflows etc.
Thanks
