Oh my... Yes I do remember this one from when it was new. Great memories, and I think it still holds up very well. Thanks for sharing hubird!

				My pleasure

I did a tour along the internet that night to make a reconstruction of the very beginning of dance (to ignore preludes like LL Cool J).
Phuture got it going in 1987 with Acid Tracks, but I must confess I joined only after early 1989.
In Holland it came a bit later than US/Detroid and UK, but I had a few nice real acid parties yet.
Strobe and smoke, and a few 303's and a 606, still amazingly powerfull.
Geez, already 27 years electronic music

Credits for 'page three girl' Samantha Fox who picked it up very early to the hitcharts with Love House, 1988.

This track was always my favorite of that style, even though it was much later.

While we're on an Acid trip always thought this song was cool not just because of the lyrics ( I was 18 ) but the beat was so funky and different then of the other acid tracks !!

Again, Shpongle, I am sure it was here already.... I always come back to it, it has a spirit that makes me feel I am a part of it...

not really listening right now, but still clearly in my head...
I just got back from a Portishead show.
Wow, that was amazingly deep and tight!!!

Top act! Last week, there was a lot to do about live acts using tapes, after a Muse show in Belgium that had apparently disgusted quit a lot of people for not being live enough. Now, apart from the obvious sampled pieces in Portisheads music, everything was done as live as live can be. Great Stuff...
Sigur Ros as closing act of the festival just sounded weak in comparison, to me...

psychill etc.

(still in the mood of O.Z.O.R.A. festival HungAry, great as always, except the police arrest team partly incognito looking for people just smoking ganja or otherwise, not even dealing, not outside but on the festival area, this for the first time on festivals as far as I know).
Also Shpongle present as opening act.
Great 'band', just the somehow ridiculous leader of the band playing the big artist was detonating.

Best DJ in the world right now (according to me anyway)
https://soundcloud.com/jackposada/play- ... nte-rivera
Start it at 5 min 30 sec into the mix and give it until at least a minute before you bail out (even if you don't like it). It's a really pretty song. I love it. I love the whole DJ mix show. I've been listening to it in my phone over and over again.

My 11 year old son and I are diggin' the Daft Punk album.
Give Life Back To Music,
Lose Yourself To Dance involve some rhythm section indeed.
Doin It Right has a truly awesome bass note in it. Not a dry seat in the house.
I like where they're going with this

I had an attractive man over tonight I wanted to seduce so I broke out my KennyG collection, had to clean to vomit off of the DVD covers first, but it worked out well.
