yeah, it's sad that john abandoned the pulsar geekdom levels.
I kept the list, just for the record.
maybe someday (probably when he updated the rankings to keep up with garyb's posting speed
) they are back...
yes I think I should bother him with that again

Yeah, that top 10 list is pretty amazing now. Can't believe subhuman is finally off the top-10. Wonder what became of him!?
Re: the rankings- I felt that they were getting increasingly irrelevant.
What with the word "Pulsar" in most of them, and with so many posters in the levitating fire-breathing category.
I created that ranking list back in 1999 when I thought our tiny community would remain small and slow-growing. I never imagined we'd have people with 1000's of posts!!!
I think people's attitudes and the content they post should be enough, without a label to go with their name. (And you can still see the # of posts someone has posted...)
