after I had to break down my studio I'm still whitout a place to put it back up again. so all my fine aquipment still in storage. I found a place to life but its totally unsuitable for a studio. now I.m out of work too so I can not affort to rent a decent place for to work . Sh*t its hard to break out this down spiral!!!
I really mis to work with my SFP toys...I only play a little bit gitar. Good that it is nice weather overhere but I'm affraid what the winter will bring. boring!
anyway hope things will change for the better soon and I can be back in the forum again with a working SFP system.

good luck to you all!!
greetings

I have my gear set up at home - in my living room/bed room/kitchen (it's all the same room). It is a rather new building, made very precisely - witch is bad, because I have 2seconds of clearly audible resonances on specific frequensies. So mixing is more or less useless there. I haven't seen my girlfriend for 1½ month now. She is having her holidays in Finland this year - wtih her friends and family.

I guess, I can not compeede with you people, but your not totally alone in your situation. And like Chriss said it, sometimes some things must "die" to give nutrition for new life. I wish you both well

It is hard to percevere when we are not emotionaly stable, but unfortunately, it´s the only realistic solution, and the fastest to go out of the trouma.

Get ready and there you GO! Don´t give up on POSITIVE THINKING, remember that thoughts become THINGS when you percevere... If you think well, you´re going to get good results, if you are always in deep depression, there is nothing good comming out of it... You trully NEED to go out of this thoughts for your own wellbeing.

KEEP YOUR MIND TIDY and you´ll get very good results. Do not let it come back to the past, be constantly thinking positive, whatever you may think, even stupid things like: "Hey, what a nice meal I have prepeared"...

Good luck (i.e. perceverance) for you!

And I often take it the other way around Nestor. If I am realy down, I try to go all the way into it, and after some time it simply turns, and some kind of "light"/"solution"/"new way of looking at the situation" comes to me/takes over. I usually say something like: "Sorrow is like a big deep ocean, and at the buttom of it there is a chest of treasures. But you have to dare to dive all the down to get it."
This is, what have keeped my up several times though: That on the other side - after this "situation" is over, something better waits for me.

VEry deep words Immanuel, and I´m trully with you, sorrow, unfortunately i´ts necesary for us to understand many things in life. It´s sort of a therapy which melts the ice in human heart. I loved your description of going deep into it, as a way of going out.

Despite this, what I meant is that you can´t keep there forever... Once you have reflected about the situation long enough, it´s time for a new beginning.

*thumbs up*

I'm also without job now (so my studio can not grow at the moment, neither can I buy B-2003, or modularIII  ) (almost?)without a g/f (so my inspiration's gone) neither have I good place for my toys. Cannot record anything real, but can luckily use my synths and guitar and SFP of course.

Immanuel, do I remember correct that your g/f is a finngirl? Where she is in Finland? Would be nice to meet her and send greetings to you

She is at her mothers house in Lappenranta at the moment - if she didn't go to her fathers place in Helsinki allready. She travels to Denmark thursday - the same day, as I go hitch hiking to Southern France. I will probably see her around the 29th - or the 28th if I am lucky enough to be back for my own birthday

Virtualstudio - Well if your new place isn't suitable for your studio, how about just the computer and a decent pair of headphones? I know that it isn't the same, but maybe it would force you into new undiscovered territory

Just a thought.

thanks again everybody for support!
to Petal: I know what your saying but this house is really BAD, there is no way i can put my things there, one side of the room is 15cm higher than the other side, there falls dust from the walls constantly, I can look outside through a crack in the walls. it's gonna be moisty in winter. No I can't put my computer there !!
thanks for idea anyway.

At my old place - I lived in a moisty cellar for two years - It didn't give my computer any problems, it's still going strong

You could allways take it down again when winter sets in.....

Anyways - you should find another place to live in, those kind of houses are unhealthy to live in - but you propably know that.
