something that could play a keymap inside the modular . the wav player with multisamples keymap .
it would be great to import akai keymaps with samples into the modular .

i would have made the same request!
some kind of STS sampler module for modular would be VERY useful!!

What would be wrong with plugging the sts2000 into the inputs of modular ?
Isn't this the simplest solution ?

have you thought of having envelopes, filters, etc. per voice instead of mixed output?
heh, i would not even want no STS (bleh) functionality, just 1 slot that accepts .p files, like old sampleplayer

the managment of the polyphony is free inside the modular . each note in a chord could be treated by a filter, env , fx . instead of the entire chord .
