Overcloking my Pentium IV 2.4B, please, some help. Am I goin

I'm running my PIV 2.4B at 3.056 at 40C temperature. I'm surprised that this reaches just that...

the CPU External Frequency got from 133 to 170, and CPU Vcore from 1.525v to 1.575v and the DDR Reference Voltage from "Auto" to 2.60v. If you think I'm getting crazy, PLEASE, tell me... I don't think this is too much, it seems to be a stable system and there is no much heat, but I'm a bit scary cos it's just my first time here with an Intel. I've just overcloked my wife's system witn an AMD Athlon XP and it runs fanasticaly fast.

Am I going to far or this is ok, please, some experience would be nice here. Thanks

there is a risk that the computer components in there will last a bit shorter but hey, we are sort of forced to buy a new machine every 2 or 3 years not because it stops working but because there are new ones running three times faster... so if the temp is ok and it makes you happy, go for it man

Definitely over the "10% boundary" there!

As long as your system's still stable...I've personally found heavy overclocking to cause a degree of flakiness, but if it works for you, go for it.

When trying it out a little deeper, some apps would not work as well as the used to do. I'm going to go down a bit, and stay just in the point of reaching the perfect much between power and stalibity. Thanks for your answers
