Hi,

Today I dropped my job (hmm.. don't know if it's the right term, I mean I gave to my boss a document I don't want to work here any more). It was difficult for me as I've worked here for almost 6 years. I'm going to run my own studio. It's all I can say for now and I'd like you, my friends, to keep your fingers crossed for the future! I need luck badly!

The bad (for me) thing is I won't be that active here in PlanetZ in 2 weeks cos I have to prepare things then.

Argh! Life is not simple. But on the other hand nobody promissed me it would

Congratulation and good luck!

I think you have done what a lot of us here only dare dream about!

I whish you the best of luck and hope that you in the near future will stand out as a shining example to us all, that dreams are meant to be realized and that they are possible!

Cheers!
Thomas

Perceverance can alwasy brake the rules... You didn't build them up, somebody else did for you, and he didn't, somebody else did for him. We all depend on others negvertheless.

Luck, exists... but perceverance can perfectly overcome luck! I'm sure that, if you are serious about what you intend to offer, you get NEW ideas, go advertising them for a certain time, you'll get some clients.

Please, be perceverant and above all: BELIEVE IN YOURSELF!

Hubird, are you sure it's enough?

Samplaire, congrats for your brave choice! You did exactly what I've planned for too long. So far, I only quitted the job  And started to finish my studies in the university. And later, I took a new job.. but it's only part-time.
When I've finished my studies (and maybe earned something) I'll definately do the same.

Nope, it's infinitely complex. Which is why one needs to adopt a very simple aproach to dealing with it. On the other hand, Death's very simple, so perhaps a complex approach is required there..?

Regardless, the Very Best of Luck to You! If it doesn't work out, I'm sure you could get a job in hubird's Smilie Shop

It's good to intentionally disrupt your life now and then (whether by travelling, moving, changing jobs, whatever). Leads to greater challenges, greater creativity, and more satisfaction with your place in life.

Best of luck to you. Please let us know how your new studio goes!

Yes Spirit, you're right!
My wife and I, are building a little Multimedia bussiness, and I can tell... we are in serious economical trouble at the moment... nevertheless, we preffer to keep going by ourselves too, it's difficult, but working hard I'm sure we ALL are going to have an opportunity.

When somebody does it out of love, out of a vocation, like you do Samplaire, there is no doubt things will work, it's just a matter of time... Keep going...

Only now I realize how this place is important to me  Sorry for being pathetic but reading your all posts I'm feeding myself with good vibes, each word I read!!!

Thank You!

The decision was not simple as I'm not alone - my family counts on me (my wife and son). Fortunatelly I can count on them, too!

Till now PlanetZ was a cafe, knowledge base, a discussuion place. But now it evolves to a place of vital forces!!!

Thank You, my friends

Go for it Samplaire and best wishes in your venture.
It'll be tough, long hours, paperwork for the taxman and all the other worries that come with it - ut you're your own boss now.

I wish you well and do keep us up to date on developments.
