Yo,

I experienced sth very strange recently. Last week I gave one of my SyncMaster 959 NF monitors to a friend cause his one was broken. So I shut down the system and plugged one of the monitors out of my Matrox G550 graphiccard. Since then my whole system is instabil like never before. I get freezes and bluescreens each 20 minutes. the BS says that the G550 driver is in an "infinite loop" or sth. I searched the forum on matrox.com but no user replied...only one from the Matrox support team. So I wondered why only I have this problem. Since yesterday I switched graphiccards with my brother and it seems as if both PCs (G550 in my brother's and ATI Radeon in my PC - still testing) run stabil. I have to add that I had no problems with the Matrox card since I bought it one and a half year ago.

I know there are some more users on this forum (planetz) who have a quite similar system like me:
-PIII 1GHz
-ASUS TUSL2-C
-512 MB RAM
-Pulsar I+II
-network card
... so maybe someone can report sth similar in combination with a Matrox card.

Before the freeze or BS comes up the screen sometimes "blurs". Last time I was quick enough and shot a pic with my camera:

...did someone ever seen sth like this before?? Could this have sth to do with the Pulsar cards?

...I am becoming mad

Thanx for hints

Are all Direct-X functions available?
(start/execute/dxdiag.exe)

Moin,

yes, my DirectX shows "aktiviert" three times.

I tested the matrox card in another system the last 48 hours and it works. An hour ago I plugged the card back in my PC and 20 minutes later....freeze:(
The graphiccard also has the latest BIOS update and I already reinstalled WinXP a few times and tested with different drivers.

...no change. I hope I can finish this post without a BS.
