During my surfing I´ve found this free VST Impulse reverb.
Maybe you find it useful.

But the new convolution reverb Giga Pulse from Tascam seems to be a real killer,
in quality and for your purse.

Looks like it's been upgraded recently. It used to be yellow!
Sounds like he's improved the 'fixed sample size' latency issue too, although not eradicated it completely (although Cubase SX 2 users have built-in compensation for this, IIRC).
The perfect companion to SIR:

SIR is MUCH better now, no more crackles.
But I still can't use it in Logic because I have no latency compensator... Roomverb is nice though

you DO know that you can use:
insert-> stereo-> logic-> delay-> sample delay, right?
just insert 2 instances of 4000 samples and a 3rd with 960 samples on any bus,
route everything (exept SIR) thru that bus and you're in sync with SIR.
happy convoluting

I'm not perfectly sure I got you routing right, but it works!
Could you explain in a bit more detail where to plug what? Maybe in a PM?
Thanks
