I've heard there is a way to control the STM2448 Mixer eq's over midi. either using Generic Remote in SX or some other format. My questions are:-

1. If so, how is this done?

2. If not, will it be implemented in the proposed SFP 4? (eg. like the Mackie Control)

It seems rather contradictory that the Creamware manual on Mixers (MIDI) opening line says 'You can control all important mixer functions via MIDI, then a paragraph later it says the channels dynamic EQ etc.. 'cannot be assigned'.

Is the STM2448(4896) dynamic EQ deemed 'not important' ?

If you want to sweep it using midi, just insert a PEQ4 - straight in the STM2448 or XTC mode controlled thru SX' remote and automation.

Hi buyaka!
I' m complete agree with you!!!
I wrote about the same things time ago!
It' s really a shame that Eq's of STM24 can't be contolled via midi...
