Some remarks:
1.thanks j9k!
2.the included presets are designed for trigger note G3 and 120bpm.
3.microMixer input 3/4 is an extra, non multi-seg-controlled signal which adsr is triggered by a flexor gate sequencer.
4.have fun with it like I'm having and
5.sorry for the big file - it's because some loops are included.

<IMG SRC="

Wow- that's one huge patch...must have taken some building. Very cool. Need a bit of time to get my head round how it's working, but it sounds great.

is there an easy way to sync this baby to bpm?

hey, you have stolen my idea
no, honestly, I'm working since months on a device with exactly these features (4 loops split in 16 slices, filtered, etc.).
However I'll provide bpm-sync, a surface and some other features, which I better keep quite about now
yours looks quite nice, will check it out for shure !
best
Wolfgang

plato&all:the signal flow in this patch is not a big thing:osc->vca(<-env)->mixer.Ok, it's not one vca modulated by one env but 16 vcas and 16 envs and it's not one osc but 4.
How can you use it? Best method probably is to set all levels in the both matrix to center position which means in this case a zero level. If a matrix tile is green it means sound is flowing from one of the SampleOSCs to the corresponding MSGEnvelope "segment".Click once in the midth of a green matrix field to select it and then double-click so no sound is passing throgh. When the whole matrix is "empty" (no green or red tiles), click again and type in a number on your keypad where 5 is the lowest and 9 is full level.Depending on what segment (S1-16) you had selected in the matrix you will hear the sample in the corresponding part of the sample. This is the groovy part, going to MocroMixer In 1+2.If you don't want to hear the groovy thing you can use the Adern gate sequencer to trigger a sample in a clean 4to-the-floor way.The gate seq triggers ome single adsrEnv which modulates one single vca (going to a delay and a filter afterwards). You can hear it on MixerIn 3+4.One thing that IS complex to edit is setting the right times of the MSGEnvelopes.I wrote down some basics in text boards at the bottom of the patch - takes some time to find the right groove sometimes.
piddi:the easiest way to sync it to bpm would be that you create a new module, maybe similiar to Adern's Displacer but with multi-output AND a swing factor possibility. But honestly: there is -at the moment- only the "hard" way meaning you have to edit the times of the 16 MSGEnvelopes.Bad, I know, but the time modulation input they have does mod ALL times (including attack and release) and that's why it is unusable.
Hope this helps.
Oh, one more thing: when you use your own rhythm samples, cut it / time-compress it that they are in time (if you don't want to hassle with the MSGEnv times, to 120 bpm).
Have fun

What an absolutely brilliant patch!
This is exactly the kind of stuff I've been longing for.
Thanks for showing me the way!

Unfortunately it makes my computer crash! I get that wierd "IRQ more or less" blue screen of death........
Damn - I was really interested in following the possibilities in this patch....

hi petal and all that have probs with the patch - I'm really sorry for this.I too had a crash once I was using the SampleOsc (which seems to be the problem here), but not with this patch. Is this happening all the times / everytime you load the patch? The workaround should be quite simple: the same patch w/o SampleOsc but with 8In/8Out modular container using the audio Ins instead of the SampleOsc.Maybe loading wave files into logic/cubase is easier anyway...
