Hi
What do you say about having all midi, vsti tracks(i am doing techno music) recorded down to audio tracks, inclusive rhythm, drum track and then work on them with effects.
Is anyone doing that commonly or is it better
to do that just before the final mix when you have whole track arranged. With this i don't mean the freeze replace but i speak of that in term of quality. How are this doing profesionals in electronic music scene?
thanx

I make an audio track of every track or part of a track as soon as possible.
I mostly include all fx except sometimes delays and or reverbs.
Not for quality aims, but to free the CPU and to keep it simple
Professional friends of mine do the same, so it's quite a normal way of working, I guess.
