They are history. Soon they will disappear.
Another thing for the history.
A tear in my eyes, few days ago I detect my first grey hairs, I´m getting old.

I'm sure that a few will be kept running...like the old red telephone boxes!

I used to love jumping on & off those red busses as a kid. Nowadays the 'Health & Safety' brigade would have a field day moaning about the dangers inherent in doing that...

As for hair...not much grey yet, but I've got more coming out of my ears & nose than the top of my head.

Royston's sure signs of ageing:

1. Pulling you trouser legs up before sitting down
2. More hair growing out of ears & nose than head
3. Enjoying watching golf on telly

I'm...39 tomorrow! Eeek!

Following the advice found in .Tech Talk (thx to Nestor & others) I've just ordered myself a nice new shiny ASUS P4PE-X MOBO, half a Gig of RAM and a 2.6 GHz P4.

This is the 'Crash and Burn' approach to personal finance...

Royston

p.s. if anybody's near Bath on Friday, there's a group of about five of us have hired out 'The Crown' pub until 2 in the morning - lots of good DJs playing and everyody's dressing up in a 'Lord of the Rings' theme!)

Happy Birfday Counterparts
but "2 in the morning" is a contradiction of terms
just because you cannot imagine something that doesn't exclude it from reality.

Happy Birthday tomorrow Royston.
Chris - it's the first grey pubic hairs that make you sad - not hte ones on your head

Are you sure they're yours or did you take a few of mine home with you.

Oh to be 39 again

what would you choose:
forever staying 25, but also staying the same person in every respect...
or getting older but learning more about yourself AND still feeling 25...

Cheers for all the good wishes, guys.

Do I count this as one year more, or one year less? A conundrum, for sure!

Happy birthday, Royston! And don't forget: you've reached the top! Please listen to the feeling of Temptations's "Superstar". That's how it should feel. So be  and

Many Happy returns young man. I turned 40 last year and I really thought everyone here was way younger. Now I feel better and my few grey hairs have turned blond again.
BTW it's one thing growing nasal hairs, but when your barber offers to clip them uninvited, then wwwooooaagh, hold on!!
