I would realy like to see a MIDI device, with one MIDI in and MANY MIDI outs (16?). The device should send out different program change messages to the different outputs.

This way, when I am running my guitar setup, I can have:

preset 1
Dirt prog 1
Echo prog 1
Carolina prog 1

preset 2
Dirt prog 1
Echo prog 67
Carolina prog 8

preset 3
Dirt prog 7
Echo prog 1
Carolina prog 3

*********************************************

It will make a HUGE difference in the ease of making guitar set-ups. Not having to copy the same programs over and over with new numbers - and the ever-so-anoying old-preset-list-in-SFP-bug. I would pay for this. I actually took the full step today and made a Patch in Modular with a lot of switches and parallel-loaded inserts (27 distortions, 6 phazers, 6 flangers, 6 chorusses). But it ate 18 of my 19 DSPs, so it is realy not an option, and I didn't even get to the echos and reverbs. So this is not an option.

Very very useful indeed. I use SFP for live playing so this kind of device would great! Hopefully not to hard to do on your own when (if) SDK goes public.

Preset selection isn't time critical, so can be done on the CPU. For example with http://www.bome.com 's Midi Translator you could do that with notes from a MIDI keyboard...
