This is my first post ever in this section. The inspiration that made me compose this little track, like hundreds of musicians did in the past, and will do in the future, is a wonderful and beautiful woman

This is my way to tell her that I love her. Because... isn't it better that instead of flowers and chocolates you give the woman you love something that came straight from your heart?

I sincerely think so.

Therefore, Ana: here is your song......

---------------------------------------

After this introduction  here are the technical details:

1) For the evolving pad I used my modular patch "Vintage String Ensemble" ( http://www.planetz.com/forums/viewtopic ... forum=15&4 ) processed by an Electro-Harmonix Small Stone phase shifter with a delay on one audio channel. This is a classic sound Jean-Michel Jarre made famous. I have been his fan since I was 12 years old.

2) For the rain and thunders I used the awesome modular patches of Kensuguro ( http://www.planetz.com/forums/viewtopic ... forum=15&3 ) Man, they are outstanding patches!!! I wish I could design something similar someday...

3) The vox pad is the STS-4000 with a sample from the original Fairlight CMI IIx sample library. I love this sound and it is one of the treasuries of my sample collection. Art of Noise anyone?

4) Also, there are a couple of VSTi's: Native Instruments Absynth and GMedia Music impOSCar. Both are outstanding instruments and "must-have" ones.

5) The pseudo-guitar solo is the UKnow 007 synthesizer processed by a Digitech RP100 Guitar Processor. It has a lot is pitch-bending but remember I was just improvising and I'm not Jan Hammer

I recorded all the tracks on Cubase SX and finalized the mix with PSP Vintage Warmer as the final stage in Wavelab. The mastering and mixing, of course, is far from perfect.

Well, I hope you like it and don't forget to post your comments and suggestions.
