So, I recently wrote two long tracks - one for sale ! :eek: ! and was getting this odd high-pitched noise. It drove me nuts. What could be causing it I thought.

I couldn't see where it was coming from, yet it was on everything that I'd recently recorded.

When I was mixing & mastering the new track I could hear it clearly. Grrrr. I ended up mangling the top end just to try to get rid of it.

And then, yesterday, when the master of the track is already gone, I discover the reason....

I had left open a feed from my noisey old internet PC straight into my DAW and that had been going onto everything I'd recorded.

Arrrrghhhh !!!! :cry:

There is a good side of it - you will never do it again :wink:

Besides, there are worse things like those not filtered :wink:
