Have you ever stopped to wonder how your lifestyle impacts the planet we're living on?
What is your ecological footprint?

Mine is 4.52 hectares. Only 44.28% of the average american, but if everyone on Earth lived like me it would take approximately 3 Earths to support us all. And I consider myself environmentally aware, dont drive a car etc.

Depressing.

Have you seen the film "Fucking Åmål"? It's about young people, love and pro-consumption commercial lifestyle

the small print says it doesn't apply to non-North Americans

It was quite popular here due to a very active non commercial films distributor. I consider it one of 5 best films I've ever seen!

8.52 hectares ! I win ! And only about 5 Earths needed - but that's OK, I've been advocating a much accelerated space program for years. This survey just proves how we need to get off this planet. If we keep concentrating on this recycling green theme without halting population growth then we'll just end up drinking recycled urine and having roast soylent green every night.

No point in letting our species stagnate on this muddy ball.

for the result to be circa 10ha somebody has to be higher then at0mic. Considering MANY people living in deep powerty or just in a village there should be large group of people having 20ha

4.0something... must be my miserably small apartment, no car and lots of biking. and flying once every 5 years. still a relative high score...
i told mister survey to give only 20% of the earth to us folks, and then we would need almost 10 earths... gotta admit i just went through rather quick and didn't check what seperates north americans from western europeans...
