hi guys,
i´m looking for a nice real analog Tube Distortion/Overdrive to get me a fatter sound out of my Roland Jupiter 6 Analog Synth.
Is there a special device that is perfect for synthesizers?
most of the dist/overdr. effects are designed for electric guitars.
are those electric guitar effects also useable for a synth (i think so but i´m not quite sure)?
if you have any recommendations, don´t hesitate with your answer.
thanks to all

I used to run a guitar delay and phaser pedal on my old Jupiter 6 and it worked very well. The phaser was especially fat, twisting and warm. I have never found a phaser with the same sort of "guts" and power.

I was very disappointed when I started to run through some rack effects - they were so weak in comparison.

The downside was the pedals were noisey as hell.

what do YOU think about it?
seriously, you really need to hear it to make a rational decision. other electroharmonix distortions are very good, so i would expect this one to sound good as well.....
