On June 8th the planet Venus will move across the sun as a black dot.
To refer to this seldom event, I´ve created this track.
In this track Venus is on the left and the Sun is on the right side of the panorama, at the beginning.
Later, during the track, Venus moves across the Sun to continue hers orbit as usual.
I hope you like this track and you will be able to watch the Venus transit in June.
Enjoy it!

Wicked man!
This sounds HUGE, very fitting for an astronomical event. The narrators voice reminds me of Stephen Hawking speaking through his little robotic sounding speech device in one of his documentaries.
And the choirs. . . sweet. I especially like the female "eeeh" thing. I´ve always liked that ever since I heard it on Orbitals Lush 3-2 track many years ago.
And as usual when I hear your music, I feel like Im in a huge spacecraft on an epic journey. . . . to the Unknown.
Wicked!

Thank you very much Nisse for your kind words.
Today this track played in a radio broadcast and I learnt one thing.
It´s clever to produce a extra version for the radio.
The vitalizers and comps of the radio station pumped the track totaly down. Damn

Did it now? Thats interesting to hear (allthough damn unfortunate for you)
How exactly would you go about to make your music more "radio friendly" ?

Wonderful (in the true sense of the word) as usual.
I discovered by playing this EXTREMELY loud, it makes my eyes shutter
Always enjoy the journey.
Cheers

A very interesting listen - as always
I'm a big fan of choirs and really enjoyed them here. Also liked the rhythmic lfo "persussion" in the background. Sort of made me think of a 19th century "clockwork heavens".
I also thought there were subtle shades of the trip sequence out of 2001.
Gret intro, just the right length track. One of your best imho.
A treat

My god - It's full of stars!
I'm not into the spoken word over the top, harsh and distracting, but other than that it's a very big rich sound, much like the soundtrack to "The Dig", a lucasarts adventure in space. Any chance of uploading a version with the vocals muted?

I really loved this one but the artificial talking is annoying to me.

Yes, the artificial, in fact spektral delay presets (glass echos), are overbalancing the speech.
But, hey I made this track in an evening only and I still like it. It was just to announce that event not more not less.
THX to all replys....
The next track will be with less FX on the speech, Dave? Dave. Dave! What are you going to do? Dave? Will I dream...nooooooo.
