I was just thinking yesterday, why can't I use the Volkzsampler in a system without a scope board. While I know that a friend of mine has a cracked version from Zone wich is working fine with his SB-audigy card.

Peronally I dont understand why anyone with acces to cracked software chose Volkzampler over other (better IMO) VST samplers like Kontakt or Halion.

Edit: Sorry, for hijacking your thread Fidox.

Hi all!

While I think Volkszampler is meant to be for those users who don't own scope board, I guess it's possible to use it without xtc mode. But there might be catch that we can use it only with XTC, because we received it with our creamware card, so they are securing themselves from us sharing this software with other users this way.

I'm working only in XTC mode, but I have never used it over kontakt, because it behaves really strange with akai cds.

Best regards, Igor

there was a native version released at the NAAM show a couple of years ago. it was given away free so maybe there are still some copies floating around...

that Namm version was only a demo version.
However a while back the Volksampler could have been purchased from the shop to run on any sound card. I checked the shop and they no longer sell it.
