Hello,

Thievery Corporation (www.eslmusic.com) invited me to remix one of their tracks for a compilation album. It must be finished within one week. My question is: what rights do I have as a remixer?

Thanx,
Manoah

usually you're paid on the job and that's it, unless something else is negotiated of course
Afaik you have to be rather popular to achieve royalties etc.
Anyway congrats - not a bad reference...

cheers, Tom

congrats!

PS
As Astroman say - no rights. You are just a hired worker. But don't bother it. You enlarge your portfolio working with big names!

Thanx guys. I thought so. Could I ask them to state my name ("Voidd remix")?

I think that's common practice
