Luna ii + adding dsp board
Hi rrkradio!
I to have only one luna card, but I've managed to get through just by using vst plugins, no SFP or XTC plugins, because I don't have like you enough DSP power. If it were me I guess one aditional luna card would be enough for me in most cases, but if you have the money go and buy SRB, this will make your machine really powerfull. I don't have enough money to buy me another luna, but if you got it I would certainly suggest you to buy SRB booster card with 14 DSP chips. Also any of the other cards from Creamware family would be OK, I just suggested worse and best ones.
You did buy a good card allready!
I hope this helps you!
Best regards, Igor Benko

it may be a better idea to look for a regular Scope card (6 DSPs), but with a nice software bundle - the SRBs aren't much cheaper.
There are the official 'synth and sampler' and 'mix and master' packs, but many 2nd sellers have quite an amount of software with their cards going for almost free.
New hardware comes with software bundled and is generally cheaper, so that had an influence on the 2nd hand market.
cheers, Tom
