Just wondering if anyone subscribed to this service, or had any success? Some of us here seem to be quite prolific and accomplished in their music making and I wanted to know if there were any success stories around. It's quite expensive.

A number of clients that have passed through my studio over the years were Taxi subscribers. None have had anything negative to say about the service that I can remember. There are plenty of benefits with membership. I think they spell that out quite clearly on their website.
Only you can decide whether it's worth joining or not. If you're expecting Taxi to be an easy way to get a record deal I'm pretty sure you'll be disappointed. If you're looking at it as just another way to get your music heard by industry insiders, you'll probably be satisfied. Try it for a year and if it doesn't pay off for you, then don't renew. Good luck!

Wise words! I was just wondering, as I receive the weekly emails. I quite like what Michael has to say about the industry and A&R.On 2004-07-19 16:57, krizrox wrote:

@ Micha: Yes Studio Buddy is a nice introduction to music recording and mastering.
