I take it this is a setup ?
She would have to have been lying down when the shard struck, and it looks pretty wintry, which would make this very unlikely !
Nasty way to go if it's true though !

well, it pierced her AFTER she was on the ground, dead and frozen(it's wintry)......

I wonder if that sort of scenario led to all the ancient Greek and Hebrew tales of lightning raining down from the heavens. Some kind of giant albatross or pterodactyl way up in the sky took a whizz and the unfortunate ancients were smote by the wrath of Thor.

There is one very strong clue in the picture which shows it to be faked!
Can you see what it is?

if she had been alive while being pierced, she would still have been warm, and the shaft would have melted in/near her body, hence making it fall...

Hadn't thought of that one!
I was thinking more along the lines of ... what happens to a long, thin piece of ice after it hits the ground after reaching terminal velocity following its decent from 30,000 ft?

and: if a fluid instance falls down to earth, it is in weightless condition, like training astronauts in a plane that is falling down to imitate weightlessness.
That urine would get balled together, or fall apart in many small little balls...just like rain does.
Am I right?

he he !
didn't mean to start a collective shirlockianism here, but all very good points !
If only all these 'intelligence inquiries' could use the same level of intelligence.
'There was too much political/public relations involvement in the compiling of the JIC Intelligence document'
'Neither the chairman of the JIC nor the politicians involved did anything wrong'
I think the ice here should have melted about 9 months ago !

Now I'm wondering what does happen when a plane's loo is evacuated...
You know, when you have one of those very light showers and there's hardly a cloud in the sky...

unfortunately, if you live near an airport you get worse. before approaching to land, most of the remaining fuel is jettisoned, raining kerosene upon anyone in it's path...the plane is pretty high at that point and kerosene is fairly volatile so it just leaves a dirty coating on things...

Garyb, fuel is still one of the main costs in aviation, altho they buy it tax-free, big carriers get it for like 1€ per gallon. Fuel is only dumped when something went wrong during or after take-off that urges them to land with a plane that is too heavy to be put on the ground (max take-off weight is some higher than the max landing weight). Also during some emergency simulations they use it, but that's quite rare. You do not want to drain 20.000lbs when you don't need to!
Yes, that pic is obviously set up. Nice one tho, I'll forward it to the workmates

Toilet leaks from airplanes are blue, cos of the chemical solvent that is used. Check it next time you flush on board.

Also when blue ice falls from a plane it comes in blocks of like max 2kg, it will go straight to the basement when the plane flew high enough. I was questioned about a toilet leak I had been fixing myself, the UK authorities were trying to find out which plane lost the block that damaged a house. Luckily my leak was an internal one :> Been working on the tail, like 10m up today. Out in the bright sunshine with a light breeze. So it's not always toilet work, but shit happens
