I would like to see the same page back, after posting a reply and clicking on enter (the same thread) command.
Is this part of the site's protocol or is it a site owner's preference?
I always check my posts, be it a text or a pure smilie post.
It's a bit annoying to have to manouvre back to the last page everytime, and then scolling downward to the new post...
Even if you don't check your new post it would be preferrable to have it my way, because you always wanne leave the current thread.
Am I right?
John, what would you think?

/me chatting along
well IE doesnt scroll down to the post that was just made, but it ends up on the same topic and a single/double mouse scroll does it for me eh.

hehe, chatting fast...
sure, I also get back to the same topic, but not on the LAST page...which move (to the first page) is anyhow a rather useless act...

At least I never wondered about that...
What could be some neat feature is to count only 'page views' per IP instead of per click, cos many people think that 200 people read their post without replying and maybe only 10 people were posting and reading the same topic over and over again - everyone re-reads the posts he replied to...

Yes, same here... it always jumps back to the first page. Even when I only paid half for my machine.

ehh...laying down the counting views issue for the moment...don't you think it's a bit boring, the way it is now, specially if you (like you and me at least) are a multi poster

now we should go on, till we get a second page.
If we then go on further in this tempo, you'll agree page handling is annoying

'tis slightly annoying, but you know to click the link for the last page in the series afterwards, so it's not as if you get lost
Yesterday, I had 3x private messages (concerning my I/O plate swap) - the first and third were both from the same person, BUT I only received notification of the first of these. I just happened to check my private messages page 'by chance' this morning and noticed the additional message.
Is this a BUG? Has anybody else noticed this behaviour?

I never had any problem with PM. But I do find the "not returning to last page" problem a bit annoying...

Yeah, I agree it's annoying, but it never occured to me to try to fix it! I'll see if I can figure out a way.
Cheers,
