I've just got a PowerPulsar, already have a Pulsar I and a Pulsar II.

If I use the PowerPulsar alone in any PCI slot I get "Hardware Error 16" or else "Installation Problem - can't access Hardware"

If I put either my Pulsar I or Pulsar II in as well and join them with the STDM cables, in any order, it works fine - I get either 19 or 21 DSPs available!

Is something likely to be dead on my PowerPulsar that's causing this ( do Creamware repair dikky boards if so...? ), or is it simply a driver/earthing problem/time of the month...?

Sounds to me like an installation error, try re-installing with the Scope Pro drivers since thats basically a PowerPular.

Cheers!

Bizarre, my friend, bizarre

- I re-ran my SCOPE_v40Setup.exe, installed it into a fresh, empty folder and presto! I got my PowerPulsar running solo nicely. What fun I shall now have copying stuff over from my old folder...

Many thanks! Watch out for my Pulsar I and II on eBay...
