SPL Attacker is frickin' beautiful - in Cubase SX2, and running a 21 DSP system in XTC mode, I patched it into the Channel Effects for Groove Agent - pow, what punch those drums! Patched it into the Channel Effects of the B2003 - pow, what punch those tubes!

But then when I wanted to patch it into my impOSCAR too, I got the message "Sorry,no more channels available" - it didn't want me to have 3 Attackers running, boo hoo!

OK, so I'm being a greedy bugger - but is this a limitation of SPL Attacker, of Cubase, or XTC?

What ASIO drivers are in the XTc project? If they're not 64 versions, they can handle max 32 channels. I think that includes effect sends, not sure about that tho. Edit your XTC project so it has the 64 drivers.

attacker's limit is 2 stereo or 4 mono.

to get more you must get transient designer, as buying two attackers will still not give you more tracks on the one machine.

this is explained somewhere on this thread.

Cheers!
