hello... i asked this question in another post... but nobody responded... so i will ask again...

i am really curious as to how you go about cleaning samples of voice? i have heard ppl talk about it on here... and i was wondering how you do it? do you use special software? or just run it thru filters and eq's? where would i find more info on this?

It depends on the sample. It's good to have a bit of the noise you want to get rid of by itself in the sample per seat the beginning or at the end of the voice proper).

I use Cool Edit Pro 2.0 to clean up my samples. It has a comprehensive noise reduction plugin and a very good notch filter to get rid of(or boost) very specific frequencies in a wave file.

More specifics(nature of the noise, etc.) might bring better answers.
