Well, I've faced a lot of trouble after purchasing my Pulsar XTC. Is there any of you using this card succesfuly as it was meant to be used, with some other brand card for I/O?

yes this card is to be used in conjunction with another creamware or alternative soundcard. It is basically like a powercore card, for dsp processing quality, hence no outputs

at the time i was using it with cubase vst and didn't have pdc. I am now on sx2 but use the sfp asio drivers and have no problems, not much help huh. My system at the time was an athalon 1.4 on i think a cheap ess k75sa I think, delta 66 soundcard. but as i say there was no pdc at the time so sorry not much help.

right i've been having a think and does the adding of a pulsar effect/synth alter the latency of your rme? if not could the stacking latencies of the fx (i.e. fx chain) be pushing the pdc higher than the latency of your rme, thus crashing nuendo? Possible solution, try increasing the latency of your rme if possible and see if you can then have two fx chained. I might be talking bollox but it sounded ok in my head.

Adding more synths/FX increases the output latency of my RME, so that's not the problem.

i'll keep my eyes out and put up a solution if i can find one.
