I'd like people who post their music for review to give a comment on what their aim is....

eg Hobbiest/working toward semi pro/pro

Demoing for friends/band/producer

Looking for encouragement or understanding or assistance with mix/structure or just general admiration

Any comments?

It's communication, in a mysterious language

We all know different areas of this language, and none of us the whole thing, so the music forum is like a place to learn/share this knowledge.

edit - and the Z is diverse, I like that

the web has given us a mean of letting people listen to the music we do. be it one, five or ten people, it's all good. Back then when there wasn't any of this, one would record something and let it hear to relatives or friends, or noone at all. It's good to get advise from people we don't really know
