I've been trying to register for four days now. Eventhough the registration page now comes up, and I've accepted the cookie, I STILL cannot get into 'my page'. I get an 'object creation error'.

I was really excited when my card first arrived, now I'm just pissed.

Who and how do I contact someone to help me?

Now that it says that my name is registered, it won't let me log in. When I try to log in, the site says 'log in failed'.

creamware server goes down all the time

unlucky for us, they dont care.

they have sort of solved the problem tho, they just have to restart it. physically. then it will be up and running for two more days.

their point: problem solved, case closed (it seems)

our point: a wreckening weekend, an a dreadful CW summer vacation (until they (atleast) get a remote reboot option, cause they sure aint gonna fix it)

good luck newcomers, hope u didnt get your card on a friday (i dont even need statistics to say the server is going down this weekend).

They really should do something about that. Users start with an extremely bad impression and CWA's reputation suffers again. But then CWA has always been extremely weak on communication.

I think the problem is they're extremely weak on personel and money  I'm not that sure the person who set up the server and wrote that shop software is still available. If he's not around, it could be a hell of a job to fix that, first understanding what's all in there, then debugging it. The guy fixing that could possibly also have full control of their shop, just to say they won't put the first best on it - again, if they could aford it.
Let's hope that they sell some ASB's and that broadcast companies (isn't that their main buziness?) find their way to CW gear ...

you know, it always interested me if CW would employ people offering help from planetZ. I mean, I'm sure there are some "non sensitive' work that can be filled in. Not that I'd be able to go to germany.. We have users in germany right?

This problem has gone for quite a few weeks already, and there are many, many complains about it, I had also the same problem. I am sure the best would be to just CLOSE this registration page till it works... as this causes more confusion than help, and it doesn't help CWA in terms of bussiness.

This is like eating when you are in a hurry, it is better not to eat, as you'll have an indigestion, when you come back, food is even better

I want my downloads! Really. I do.

The download generation software cant be that complicated ? Just built an unix version for it and run it on a freebsd box! Use python, then you can developpe it on windows first....
I would use a PostgreSQL db backend if cw needs one.

I'll assist if nessecary!

Regards,
Frans
